WhatsApp Status permits you to share photographs, recordings and animated GIFs that vanish after 24 hours. With a specific end goal to send and get notices to and from your contacts, both you what’s more, your contacts must have each other’s telephone numbers spared in your address books.
To view somebody’s status update, tap the Status tab and select a contact’s status. To answer to one of your contact’s update, tap Reply at the base of the screen while seeing their status.
To Add Your Status Update
Go to the Status screen => Tap the status Icon
You can take a new photograph or record a new video, or select a current one from the picker, then tap the send Button.
To Change Your Status Privacy
Your status update can’t be seen by individuals whose numbers are not saved in your telephone’s address book. You have the choice to share your status updates with all your contacts, or with selected contacts on your telephone. By default, your status updates are set to be shared with all your contacts.
Go to the Status screen => Tap Privacy on the top left of your screen => Choose who can see your status Updates.
To Manually Delete A Status Update
Go to the Status screen => Tap the 3 Dots next to My Status => Swipe left on the status update you wish to delete => And tap Delete.
To Mute A Status Update
You can mute the status update of a specific contact so they won’t show up at the top of the status list any longer.
Go to the Status screen => Swipe left on your contact’s status update you wish to mute => And tap Mute.
To Unmute A Status Update
=> Go to the Status screen.
=> Scroll down to see the Muted statuses.
=> Swipe left on your contact’s status update you wish to unmute.
=> And tap Unmute.
